Challenges, Opportunities and Possibilities — a two-day international gathering of scholars across six themes.
The International Seminar on "Education, Literature, Society and Culture: Challenges, Opportunities and Possibilities" is hosted by the Central Campus of Lumbini Buddhist University on 15–16 June 2026, in collaboration with Lal Bahadur Shastri Smarak P.G. College and the Kalindi Prakashan Group, Uttar Pradesh, India. Held at the Central Office of Lumbini Buddhist University in Lumbini — the birthplace of Lord Buddha — the seminar brings together 35 scholars from Nepal and India for presentations across two parallel tracks and six themes.

Theme T6: cultivation of empathy, moral consciousness, social cohesion and combating polarisation through Eastern philosophical and spiritual traditions. Chair: Prof. Dr. Arvind Singh; Rapporteur: Mr. Neshan Shrestha; Facilitator: Mr. Kamal Thapa.
